Build lesson slides directly from your own materials
A single create screen now lets you choose exactly which lesson sources, notes, and files Knola uses to build your presentation. You can add your own knowledge, decide whether to keep your exact words, and watch a meter show how much material Knola has to go on.
What’s changed
Every slide build now starts from one screen where you choose exactly which notes, transcripts, PDFs and outlines Knola builds from.
Who gets itEvery school
How it works
- In your lesson Slides lane, select Create a presentation with Knola.
- Under What Knola builds from, toggle the sources you want to include or switch off.
- Add extra knowledge under Add what you know by uploading a file, typing notes, or researching a topic.
- Choose an option under Whose words and select your audience.
- Review the meter in Your presentation panel and start the build.
Good to know
- Researching a topic costs 1 credit and is available to all schools.
- Switching off a source in the presentation brief never deletes it from your lesson.
- Choosing Keep my words exactly allows you to copy those words into the written lesson for free.
- You can leave the page while slides are being generated; the build will finish in the background.
