- No Kajabi transaction fee with Kajabi Payments. Card processing is 2.7–2.9% + 30¢, depending on plan.
- With a third-party payment processor, Kajabi adds 2% (Basic), 1% (Growth) or 0.5% (Pro).
- In late 2025 Kajabi launched new plans: Basic went from $149 to $179 a month, and from 10,000 contacts to 2,500. Existing customers moved to the new prices on 13 January 2026.

Questions about Knola and Kajabi
Why is Kajabi so expensive?
Kajabi bundles courses, email marketing, a community, a website and a mobile app into one monthly plan. You pay for all of it, from $179 a month, whether you use it or not. In late 2025 Kajabi also raised Basic from $149 to $179 a month and cut its contacts from 10,000 to 2,500; existing customers moved to the new prices in January 2026.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Kajabi?
Yes. Knola is a one-time payment: $97 for Solo or $197 for Studio, with no monthly fee to keep your course online. That costs less than 2 months of Kajabi Basic.
Is Knola really a one-time payment?
Yes. You pay once for a licence. If you sell through Knola’s checkout, Knola takes 7.5% of each sale. Use your own checkout and Knola takes nothing. Knola Pro ($37/month) is optional and removes the fee.
Can I sell ebooks and downloads, not just courses?
Yes. Knola is not only for video courses. Turn your lessons into ebooks, worksheets and checklists with AI, or upload your own files, then sell them on their own, as an order bump, or bundled with a course. Buyers get their download straight after checkout.
Can I move my Kajabi course to Knola?
Yes. Download your videos and files from Kajabi and upload them to Knola, and Knola transcribes the videos and drafts the lessons. What happens to my course if I stop paying?
On Kajabi, your site goes offline when your subscription ends, and your students lose access to the products they bought. Kajabi’s help centre says this, and recommends downloading your content before you cancel. On Knola there is nothing to stop paying: pay once and your course stays online.
Does Knola do email marketing like Kajabi?
Not yet, but this is on the way and in the final stages of testing.
Can my students learn on their phones?
Yes. Knola works in any phone or desktop browser. There is no separate app to download.
Do I have to use Knola’s AI?
