Start a course from your videos, your documents or an idea
New course now offers three ways in: from an idea, from a folder of videos, or from your documents, which Knola arranges into modules and lessons while keeping every word.
What’s changed
Starting a course meant typing an outline for the AI. Now you can drop in finished videos or several documents, and an imported document becomes a suggested course outline instead of following its headings blindly.

How it works
- Select New course and choose an idea, your videos or your materials.
- Drop video files or a folder, or PDF, Word, Markdown and text files.
- Review the suggested outline (or choose Follow the headings), open Left out to put back anything, and drag lessons into order.
- Confirm to build the course.
Good to know
- A video folder’s name becomes the course title and file names become lesson titles. Videos upload three at a time in the background.
- Every word you upload stays exactly as written, in a lesson or in Left out.
- Planning costs no credits, up to 30 imports an hour. Lessons over 2,500 words split at subheadings; uploads over 100,000 words can become several courses.
