Free certificate templates, and certificates you can edit in Word

The free certificate maker now downloads an editable Word file, and there are more than 400 free certificate templates for awards, courses, work and school, each a Word file or a PDF.

What’s changed

The certificate maker downloaded a PDF or a PNG. Now it also gives you a Word file: the design behind the page, every line a text box in its own font, and the logo, seal and signature as pictures you can delete or swap.

Who gets itEvery school

How it works

  1. Open the free certificate maker, or browse the templates by occasion: award, completion, appreciation, employee of the month and many more.
  2. Press Word to download, or Customise to open a template in the maker with your logo and colours.
  3. In Word, type over any line, then print or save a PDF.

Good to know

  • The fonts are inside the file, so it looks right on a computer without them.
  • Made for Microsoft Word; Google Docs may move the text boxes.
  • Free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
  • Certificates made outside Knola never carry a number, a QR code or the word Verified: those mean something only when Knola issues them.
