Lock course modules to specific access tiers
Choose exactly which modules each access tier includes. Other modules show as locked with an upgrade link, or stay hidden, and you can change any student’s tier from their profile.
What’s changed
Access tiers now decide exactly which modules a student can open: lessons, quizzes and downloads outside their tier stay locked or hidden, and you can move a student to another tier from their profile.

How it works
- Open your course and go to Access tiers to create or edit a tier.
- Tick the modules you want included, and choose whether unincluded modules appear locked or remain hidden.
- To move an existing learner to another plan, open their profile in Students and select their new tier.
Good to know
- When locked modules are shown, students see an upgrade link pointing to the lowest live price that unlocks that module.
- Course completion, progress bars, and AI tutor answers automatically adjust to only include lessons in the student's tier.
- Updating a student's tier manually will never lower them below a tier they have already paid for.
